The ChemWatch Chemical Database
 
The underlying power of the ChemWatch System is the enormous database of chemical information contained. Even the largest laboratories in North America will find almost all of their chemicals in ChemWatch. ChemWatch contains every infectious substance in the CDC, most of the mass casualty and explosive materials as well as most drugs you will find in a hospital. In addition to pure substances, ChemWatch also contains 110,000 common mixtures from jet fuels to roach killers and cleaning agents.
Every ChemWatch MSDS offers details not generally provided by manufacturers. ChemWatch reports are rich in graphics and color to represent risks, hazard levels, PPE and cautionary symbols such as those used by WHMIS and NFPA.

Each ChemWatch product offers several useful summaries in addition to the MSDS. All ChemWatch chemicals provide a one-page summary called a MiniMSDS. There is also the Fire Fighting report and the Regulatory Summary. The ChemWatch Full Report is a more detailed global version of the MSDS. This database is available in Chemwatch's own programming style or in the web based application, both of which is available on the standalone or the Intranet version.

We have prepared a slide show of the non-web based program. It shows the user actual screen shots of the program and provides some descriptions of the functions. Take note that it is a relatively large file to down load and we have split it into 2 separate files. Each file is approximately 1.5mbytes.
